With the incredible growth of Moffitt Cancer Center, and the new strategic plan, Impact 2028, Moffitt leadership is investing heavily in the Information Technology division to rapidly accelerate maturity and position the organization for the future. Moffitt’s strategic plan is heavily dependent on information technology; one of three pillars is the Digital Care/Discovery Accelerator led by the new Chief Digital Innovation Officer. The position will have responsibility for providing applications support for very complex services within the Cancer Center that includes Nextgen technologies needed in a research-enabled cancer center. The IT department needs a solid foundation, ensure the right resources, processes and technologies are in place driving maturity and building strong business partnership across the organization The Director of Clinical Support Applications will work closely with the ancillary department leadership to optimize system functionality and hire and develop advanced technology skills required to support state-of-the-art technologies in support of the mission of the organization to prevent and cure cancer.
