Position Overview
As a key member of the executive leadership team, this role provides leadership, management, and vision to ensure CTG executes the best go-to-market strategies to achieve its goals. The role oversees business strategy, revenue growth, business development, and professional service delivery.
This leader drives innovative healthcare technology solutions and high-quality staff augmentation services that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and value. Additionally, they champion an ambitious accelerated growth strategy while fostering collaboration with colleagues across all levels.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop short- and long-term strategic plans for the Healthcare organization to drive maximum sales revenue and align with corporate goals.
- Achieve business objectives, including revenue growth, new business acquisition, and EBIT targets.
- Enhance key solutions that align with industry trends, leveraging the organization’s expertise and capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate future solutions that meet emerging industry demands.
- Maintain a robust professional network and establish a strong industry presence.
- Communicate effectively across the organization, ensuring alignment with the business line’s objectives.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and customer focus to deliver pragmatic, positive client outcomes.
- Oversee P&L for Healthcare, including accurate financial forecasting, pipeline governance, and business development for sustainable growth.
Business Development
- Drive revenue and profit growth by enhancing productivity and collaborating with Sales on innovative business development strategies.
- Empower and support the Sales team in achieving optimal performance aligned with growth objectives.
- Align marketing initiatives with the Healthcare Marketing strategy and pursue new opportunities.
- Represent CTG at industry conferences to promote business and generate leads.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with senior client leadership.
- Contribute as a thought leader through blogs and other platforms to enhance CTG’s visibility.
- Serve as an executive sponsor for key clients to ensure quality and foster growth.
- Facilitate introductions to potential clients to support sales initiatives.
Quality Delivery
- Ensure adherence to processes and policies for effective client management and successful project delivery.
- Oversee project engagement and monitoring to maintain high service quality.
- Collaborate with account teams to ensure client satisfaction and policy compliance.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting while defining necessary actions to improve outcomes.
Team Management, Recruiting, and Retention
- Use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track the success of the business line.
- Lead by example, fostering continuous learning, professional development, and contributions to organizational growth.
- Communicate effectively with employees to ensure alignment and engagement across the organization.
- Conduct annual employee performance reviews and implement actionable feedback.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 15–20 years of healthcare consulting experience, including leadership of large projects or teams.
- Proven success in business development and service/solution development for at least 15 years.
- Expertise in general management, team leadership, and alignment with CTG’s core values: “in close cooperation, autonomy and independence, challenging and being challenged, and servant leadership”.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve key business KPIs, including revenue, customer margins, and profitability.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams.
- Extensive experience in business development and negotiating with client C-level executives.
- In-depth knowledge of the U.S. healthcare market and overall business landscape.
- Skilled in developing and managing strategic and financial plans.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive audiences, including the C-suite and Board of Directors.
